Measurements were made at the CSTB Scale Modelling Center in Grenoble; this laboratory is specially equipped for small scale models in the field of environmental acoustics. Their experimental results match well enough the theoretical predictions made in Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal, and show the existence of large interference effect for low frequency noise and near the `shadow line’ of the barrier. This property leads one to foresee an improvement over the classical barrier efficiency}, number={3}, journal={Canadian Acoustics}, author={Droin, L. and Rapin, J.-M. and Amram, M.}, year={1985}, month={Jul.}, pages={32–39} }
