The frame-plate structure considered consists of a stiff beam framework with two bays. The response of structure consist of both long and short-wavelength behavior over the frequency range. The dynamic behavior of the structure is modeled for the interactions between the various beam and plate subsystems using an SEA model. Finite element method is used to model the long wavelength global behavior. The subsystems in Resound that exhibit short wavelength local behavior are fuzzy subsystems. Asymptotic expressions are derived and equations of motion are studied. ER -
