Résumé

The inverse problem of acoustically determining the geometrical macroscopic parameters of an open celled porous specimen is analyzed. The inverse characterization scheme is based on the equivalent fluid model, in which the solid frame is assumed to be rigid. The numerical predictions using the inversely identified parameters are compared to the measured sound absorption coefficient of the specimen for different thicknesses.
