Abstract

An overview of the new method for description and measurement of environmental noise is presented. Although some issues related to the method implementation remain, as yet, unresolved, the method represents a significant improvement over the currently used assessment procedures. A new approach to the assessment of impulsive noise is the main advantage of the method.
