Abstract

A method for the inverse characterization of poroelastic mechanics was presented. The dependence of the natural frequencies of vibration of a poroelastic material bound onto an aluminium plate on the Young's modulus and structural loss factor was determined. An equivalent plate model was developed for the purpose, taking into account viscous effects and structural damping.
