Abstract

The audio system for committee rooms which is a main factor contributing towards the success of meetings was discussed. A digital delegate system was prototyped which consisted of microphone and small loudspeakers. In this system, access to other audio systems was provided by an analog interface device which was used to provide audio for conferencing, sound reinforcement and television. The prototype design offered an opportunity to test multimedia systems and integration techniques.
