Abstract

Deals with sound propagation above ground having an impedance discontinuity. Various theoretical approaches which have been recently developed are faced with experimental results carried out both indoor and outdoors. Then, the most efficient model has been matched to predict the performance of a sound barrier. It enables one to calculate the insertion loss of a screen lying on the discontinuity
