Abstract

The relevance of reverse alarms on forklift trucks is not clearly established yet, especially in noisy workplaces. The spectral and temporal characteristics should be defined with greater specificity in order to ensure the audibility of reverse alarms. The warning signal should be adjusted according to the ambient noise.
