Abstract

The use of an acoustic test fixture for the measurement of insertion loss of active noise reduction (ANR) headsets was studied. Significant variations among the calculated values of different insertion losses at different frequencies were observed. Results showed that the ANR headset obtained broadband noise attenuation both in low and high frequency band.
