Abstract

A new audiovisual tool. "La surdite causee par le bruit nous suit partout [Occupational hearing loss follows us everywhere]", is available since 2006 and its primary focus is on public health care professionals generating awareness of occupational hearing loss among noisy workplaces in Quebec. This tool is also available to organizations and workplaces boasting the required resources to use it according to the designers' philosophies and instructions. The following describes the context surrounding the development of the tool, its goals and multiple features, as well as the prerequisites and optimal conditions ensuring its proper use.
