Sound levels around buildings near roadways

Presents the results of preliminary measurements of the difference between the incident sound levels at the front and rear facades of suburban detached and semi-detached houses adjacent to major roadways. The measurement also yielded data on sound transmission through open windows and comparisons between the sound levels measured in open windows, at the surface of the building facade, and 2 m from the facade.Downloads
