Résumé

The bistatic scatter from the seabed in shallow water environments were measured by using wide band sonar (WBS). The computer simulation was used to select experimental geometries and to interpret the results in terms of bistatic arrivals. It was found that the delay in the onset of the peak as azimuth increased resulted from the increased bistatic path length.
