Résumé

The case studies on noise pollution carried out in some General Hospitals in Tuscany (Italy) were presented. The acoustic performance of the hospital was analyzed considering the sources and receivers of the noise inside and outside the building. The systems generating noise pollution were studied and frequency characterization of the emissions was performed. Results suggested that the design of systems, plants, rooms and perimetrical walls should be changed to minimize the noise.
