Résumé

An active control of low-frequency noise in three-dimensional rooms was investigated. As such, a novel design method called the Image-GA method and a new control strategy called "locally-global" control were proposed. The numerical results showed that, through optimal design, significant sound reduction can be achieved in the target area.
