Résumé

The performance of various objective loudness measures was evaluated. A series of subjective tests were conducted at five sites around the world in order to create a database for evaluating the objective loudness measures. The objective readings were compared against the subjective loudness ratings by using a variety of matrices to assess each meter's performance. A set of performance metrices were established to reflect the requirements of a practical loudness meter.
