Waste Corn Husk Fibers for Sound Absorption Applications

Cette étude explore les propriétés d'absorption acoustique et d'isolation thermique de la fibre d'écorce de maïs (CHF) en tant que matériau de construction durable. Les résultats montrent des coefficients de réduction du bruit impressionnants (0,36-0,60) et des conductivités thermiques efficaces (0,038-0,042) pour la CHF. Il est à noter que l'isolation thermique de la CHF reste inchangée en fonction de la teneur en humidité. La recherche utilise le modèle Dunn and Davern (DD) ainsi qu'un modèle DD optimisé utilisant l'algorithme du simplexe de Nelder-Mead, ce dernier offrant des prédictions acoustiques très précises. Ces résultats mettent en évidence le potentiel de la CHF en tant que matériau respectueux de l'environnement et efficace pour l'absorption sonore et l'isolation thermique dans la construction.
