Cet article examine les performances acoustiques des façades vitrées dans le contexte de l'utilisation des bureaux après la pandémie. Les indices STC des façades vitrées peuvent varier significativement, posant parfois des problèmes de confidentialité lors de conversations. Le coût financier pour l'usager est souvant la considération la plus importante. En plus de ces considérations acoustiques habituelles, le coût du carbone incorporé au vitrage devraient être pris en compte par les acousticiens dans le contexte des coûts sociaux, financiers et environnementaux.
