Les sons ne sont pas seuls, si on se soucie de leur sens : orgue sensoriel et socio-bio-écosystèmes musicaux
Résumé
Un instrument marginal tel que l’orgue sensoriel (OS), créé pour des personnes en situation de handicap, nous invite à inter- roger le sens des pratiques musicales en les situant dans les contextes respectifs de production et de reproduction, déterminés dans leur réalité matérielle, imaginaire et symbolique. La perspective éco-logique est choisie pour ses vertus analytique et descriptive plutôt qu’en fonction d’implications normatives. En présentant la vie et les origines de l’OS, trois concepts exogènes par rapport au champ musical sont introduits : niche écologique, microbiome et musiculture. En tant que métaphores – riches sur le plan figuratif, euristique et pédagogique – ces concepts permettent de situer les sons de l’OS, et leur sens, dans des socio-bio-écosystèmes propres à chaque (groupe de) situation(s). Les analystes, les artistes et les pédagogues peuvent agir de façon créative et sensible sur les trois dimensions mentionnées, pour restituer au sens des pratiques musicales sa complexité et variabilité et pour orienter de nouvelles expériences.
