Résumé

Cette étude s’intéresse à l'impact de la déficience visuelle sur l’intelligibilité de la parole dans des environnements bruyants, en comparant des sujets normo-entendants et presbyacousiques primo-appareillés. Les participants ont passé un test FraMatrix audiovisuel avec différentes acuités visuelles. Les résultats ont démontré une dégradation significative de l'intelligibilité audiovisuelle dans le bruit lorsque l’acuité visuelle diminue. Cette étude souligne l'importance de la prise en charge globale des déficiences sensorielles chez les patients malentendants afin d’améliorer leur qualité de vie et réduire les risques d'isolement social.

This Licensing Addendum ("Addendum") is entered into between the undersigned Author(s) and Canadian Acoustics journal published by the Canadian Acoustical Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Publisher"). The Author(s) and the Publisher agree as follows:
