Abstract

Presents a survey of the literature dealing with long term speech spectra. The various contributions are presented and discussed from the viewpoint of the information they give about the sources of variation of long term spectra. Effects of individual characteristics (sex, profession, emotional states, individuality as a whole), of the languages spoken, and of various pathologies are successively taken into account
