Author Biography

Josée Lagacé, University of Ottawa

Josée Lagacé has been an assistant professor at the University of Ottawa since July 2009. Her research interests include speech perception problems in noisy environments, particularly in children having learning problems at school. The goal of her research program is to develop a better understanding of the aetiology of the speech listening difficulties in noisy backgrounds which would allow interventions to be better targeted and, thus, more effective. She is interested in all aspects of training audiologists and the future of the profession in Canada.
