Résumé

The development of residential lands adjacent to an existing industry is a complicated process requiring the cooperation of the industry. As part of an application for a $35 million residential development in Ontario, noise control for an adjacent existing manufacturer and hardwood flooring material is discussed. Focus is on responsibility issues, legal process, environmental noise assessment, noise control measures, noise control performance requirements, noise control design, and testing and approvals.

Author Licensing Addendum

This Licensing Addendum ("Addendum") is entered into between the undersigned Author(s) and Canadian Acoustics journal published by the Canadian Acoustical Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Publisher"). The Author(s) and the Publisher agree as follows:

  1. Retained Rights: The Author(s) retain(s) the following rights:
