Résumé

Several significant factors need to be considered to prioritize the source-receiver paths that are necessary to analyze in specifying silencers. These source-receiver paths need to be analyzed without analyzing all possible paths such that noise at all locations in the 'tree' is addressed. The factors that need to be considered to prioritize the source-receiver paths include applicable factors. The significance of some of these factors depends on the predominance in a given ductwork system design. Some other factors that play a key role in such prioritization of source-receiver paths include rectangular duct branches and circular duct branches.
