Résumé

A numerical method was used to predict the sound transmission loss of simple and complex composite panels. The configurations which were used are a simple plate, an air-filled double plate, and a double plate with cavity absorption. Both the finite element method and boundary element method are used for numerical calculations. The experimental setup is a coupled anechoic-reverberant room. Two sources are used to generate the diffuse sound field.
