Résumé

The mass loading effect on the sensitivity of shock accelerometers was studied. A method for conversion of a velocity signal to an acceleration signal was presented. The sensitivities of an Endevco 2270 accelerometer for two different mass loads at a shock level of 10,000 m/s2 were measured. The acceleration signal converted from the velocity output of the vibrometer was compared with the output of the accelerometer affected by mass loading.
